From the Screen to Zero-G: Robot Kit Becomes the Face of the First Czech Parabolic Flight

Our little robot Kit, the hero of the Kosmix series and the upcoming feature film Kosmix: Secret Mission, has gone further than any Czech animated character before him. He became an official crew member of the historic first-ever Czech Zero-G flight, which took off from Prague in March 2025 as part of the national “Czech Journey to Space” initiative.

Kit as a “Zero-G Indicator” in the Hands of Future Astronauts

In collaboration with the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, we produced a limited edition of plush Kits for this mission. These weren’t just souvenirs—for the 26 young cadets selected from nearly 900 applicants, Kit served as a crucial scientific symbol: the Zero-G indicator.

The moment the Airbus A310 Zero G initiated its parabolic maneuver over the Orlické Mountains, it was Kit who first floated into the air. By drifting weightlessly, he confirmed to the crew that gravity had, for a few magical moments, ceased to exist.

From National News to Millions of Views on YouTube

The Zero-G mission resonated across the entire media landscape:

  • Media: Kit became a TV star, appearing in the main news bulletins of Czech Television, while the event was covered by leading national newspapers.
  • Personalities: The mission featured a lineup of experts and famous faces. Kit was accompanied by our long-time scientific advisor and “ESA Champion” Jan Spratek, popular science presenter Daniel Stach, and acclaimed actress Jana Plodková.
  • Influencers: The bridge between science and entertainment was further strengthened by top Czech creators. A video by Kovy titled “We Experienced Zero Gravity!” and a special report by Mikýř reached over 1.5 million viewers on YouTube and Instagram within the first few weeks alone.

The Journey Continues: Kosmix: Secret Mission

Our beloved hero Kit will soon embark on his next big space adventure, this time on the big screen. The feature film Kosmix: Secret Mission is currently in production as an international co-production between Krutart, Czech Television, the Slovak producer Superfilm, and Italy’s POPCult.

We would like to thank the Ministry of Transport for this partnership and all the young astronauts for guiding Kit safely through weightlessness. Kit may have his feet back on the ground, but his metallic heart now belongs to the stars.
