On the initiative of the municipality of Červená Voda, a special exhibition space was created during the reconstruction of the cultural house. Krutart studio in cooperation with 3dsense and Scenografie created a modern exhibition with analogue, digital and interactive elements. Together we created a place where people can come repeatedly to spend their leisure time. The museum presents transformation of the village on a historical and natural level to visitors from local community, schools and tourists. The municipality plans to further develop, expand and improve the museum in the future.

At the Alice Masaryk Museum, we created a complete design and solution for audiovisual elements that combine modern technology with a deeply human story. Animated video captures the life of Alice Masaryk, while interactive games, historical photographs and projections bring to life the events that shaped her legacy. The challenge was to design content tailored to existing hardware while offering an inspiring and educational experience. The result is an exhibition that preserves the story of Alice Masaryk as a pioneer of humanitarian aid and her work with the Red Cross.

For the National Technical Museum we had the honour of producing a game with great ambitions – to present the modern Czech museum industry at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. For this occasion, we designed a touchscreen game controlled by a physical wooden matrix and complemented by a large narrative projection. The main message of the game, according to the NTM motto, is “He who knows, does not destroy.” and the theme of the Czech Pavilion at Expo – sustainability – to convey to young people and children the idea of why it is important to know how things work and how to fix them. While playing, visitors will learn about how a car, a camera, and batteries work and how Czech inventors were involved in their development.

Seventy years after the Czechoslovak paratroopers managed to disarm one of the most important figures of the Third Reich and tyrant of the Czech nation Reinhard Heydrich, the National Museum organized the exhibition “We will never give up!” It was opened in style, in the museum’s pantheon, in the presence of distinguished guests including the presidents of both republics. For this momentous occasion, we created a six-minute, three-screen projection. We used historical footage combined with photographs, animation and animated graphics to create it. This created an impressive look back at a significant historical event and the heroism of the citizens who gave their lives for the restoration of their homeland.

Mapping on one balcony of the National Monument visible to the visitors from the other one.
We have created 4 election calculators to help the visitors experience the voters’ thought process and the issues they were facing before the key elections of 1907, 1935, 1946 and 1992. Would you have voted for the Communists or for Hlinka’s party in 1935?

The game Being a Politician is the most complex audiovisual element of the exhibition. In this game, the visitor can experience how difficult it is for politicians to make decisions, maintain popularity and be re-elected. The game lasts about 20 minutes and can be played not only at the National Monument in Vítkov, but also on itch.io or at the official website of the exposition.

The Benešov Museum of Art and Design has prepared an exhibition on architecture called DŮM X MUD. Its visitors will have the opportunity to learn something about the most interesting works of architecture in Benešov and its surroundings. Together, we have created two immersive elements of the exhibition.

The first one is a game in the city. You can either get the map of the game at the Museum or download it from the MUD website. The map will take you through Benešov and show you its significant buildings. At each stop, you can solve a puzzle and learn an interesting historical fact. If you manage to solve all the puzzles, you can go back to the Museum and get a reward.

The second element is a video exhibition called “Why build with an architect?” Thanks to this short, animated explainer, the visitor will understand why it is a good idea to work with professionals when building a house. This video even became a marketing tool for the Museum of Art and Design when architectural studios began to share it on their social network thanks to its clear structure.

The National Museum and the Slovak National Museum have prepared a project entitled ‘Czech-Slovak / Slovak-Czech Exhibition’ on the occasion of Czechoslovakia’s 100th anniversary. The exhibition tells a fascinating story of how the seemingly unrealistic project of Czechoslovakia became reality. It describes the coexistence of Czechs and Slovaks in their common state, and shows what united them and what divided them. The exhibition about our shared piece of history visited over 500 000 people at Bratislava castle and in the historical building of the National Museum.

Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk is one of the most important people of our national history. One that we can be truly proud of. So we can proudly say that we took part in the exhibition about Masaryk in the National Museum. The opening took place in the in September 2017 and the exhibition lasted until January 2018. However, the Masaryk as a Phenomen exhibition didn’t just end in the National Museum. The exhibition traveled to museums around the world, i.e. to Washington D.C.

At Krutart we produced 5 short films, a mapping on Masaryk’s iconical silhouette, an emotional audiovisual collage from the days he died and the country mourned. We also used the animated photos with Masaryk’s quotes as a social content for promoting the exhibition. Masaryk as a feminist became viral on the International Women’s Day.
